Belton is a civil parish in the historic Isle of Axholme in North Lincolnshire. The parish consists of the village of Belton and also incorporates the hamlets of Sandtoft and Beltoft. Within the parish is the now dispersed estate of Temple Belwood and Hirst Priory still stands in Sandtoft. In Belton fields there are still some strips of land from the mediaeval strip farming system.
The Parish Council consists of 13 Councillors who are elected representatives. The Council normally meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month in The Public Hall in Belton.
