TENDERS
are invited for a Village Handyman to carry out miscellaneous tasks throughout the Parish such as litter picking, sweeping paths in the
Churchyard, painting seats etc.
The person appointed would be on a self employed basis and would submit invoices for each job that had been requested. The person
appointed would be expected to have Public Liability Insurance.
Tenders in a sealed envelope endorsed on the outside, "Handyman", should
State the hourly rate that would be used to calculate the cost of the work carried out
And should be delivered to the address below by Monday 20th Februaruy 2012.
Contractors are reminded that any breach of Standing Orders regarding
canvassing etc., will immediately disqualify any tender submitted. Copies of
standing orders will be supplied on request.

BELTON PARISH COUNCIL
TENDERS are invited from competent persons to cut and keep tidy the grass in
Belton Churchyard for the 2012 growing season. The contract will be for a maximum of up to
twelve cuts (dependent upon rate of growth), in both sections of the Churchyard with the
length of grass not to exceed 2.5 inches.
The Council will order additional cuts if and when necessary, to achieve this.
However, should the weather be such that the grass does not grow so
quickly, the Council may cancel one or more cuts.
Strimming of grass/weeds around headstones will also be required as and when necessary to
ensure that the length of grass does not exceed 2.5 inches anywhere within the curtilage of
the cutting area.
The first cut will be required before the grass exceeds 2.5 inches.
It is also part of the contract that the mowers will be run over the main path
from the Church to the far end of the Cemetery to try and blow any grass cuttings off the path.
The Tender should show separately :-
i) The cost per cut,
ii) The cost of additional cuts, if required.
iii) The cost for strimming.
Tenders in a sealed envelope endorsed on the outside, "Grass Cutting" must
be delivered to the address below by Monday 20th February 2012.

THE COUNCILS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY CONTRACT AT ANY
TIME, WITHOUT COMPENSATION, SHOULD THE ABOVE SPECIFICATION NOT
BE ADHERED TO.
